Summary of the Sustainability Leadership Academy

WE KNOW THE LAUREATES OF THE FIRST EDITION OF THE SLA
Warsaw, 3rd September 2021 – The first edition of the Sustainability Leadership Academy organized by the Institute for European Thought has come to an end.
The winners of the program were announced during a gala.
The first edition of the Sustainability Leadership Academy lasted over 20 weeks and brought together a community of people involved in changes relating to sustainable development. The main task for the participants was to prepare a digital project on monitoring the risks posed by the coronavirus pandemic.

17 lecturers from different fields of science, art and business gave lectures that included both theory and practice. The combination of international market experience and workshop methodology resulted in high dynamics and impressive results of the presented projects.
Lecture topics included: the concept of sustainable development, active communication, and problem-solving, new technologies in practice, change management, personal resources and strength of character, building mental toughness, sustainable financial management, intellectual property and data protection, civic education civic education, green revolution marketing, or social ecology 2.0.
At the core of its mission, the Institute of European Thought focuses on the development of competencies and modern didactic methods. – said President Cezary Filipowicz while presenting Institute of European Thought certificates to the participants. The participants of the first edition of the Sustainability
Leadership Academy, confirm and prove that young citizens want to engage in the process of changes resulting from the culture of sustainable development. – Filipowicz added.
I am surprised by the high level of works presented and the involvement of all project groups. – said Dawid Zieliński, CEO of Columbus Energy, sponsor of the main award. I am glad that the winners of the SLA will join the Columbus team and will infect us with their green energy and talent,” added Zieliński.
A big surprise was the special award, presented by the CEO of the Carbon Footprint Foundation Foundation in the form of an invitation to Krakow to attend the Carbon Footprint Submmit 2021 (https://carbonfootprintsummit.com) and participation on the main stage during presentation of the winning project.
The meeting ended with the announcement of the start of the second edition of the Sustainability Leadership Academy in 2022!
