Institute of European Thought

We are a Foundation established by a group of free individuals (“Populum Liberum”) united by a common mission:

Through education, we aim to build a conscious, free, and self-governing society that supports values aligned with the idea of sustainable development.

Who Are We?

The Institute of European Thought “Populum Liberum” actively strives to transform society through example and by initiating public debate.

We inspire actions toward building a civil society and a sustainable world, focusing on co-creating and supporting global efforts in the area of sustainable development, including achieving the SDGs and the criteria of corporate social responsibility (ESG). We also aim to build trust and social capital, support innovation development, and enhance the skills necessary to function in a rapidly changing world.

Our goal is not only to raise public awareness but also to actively engage individuals in shaping the future of a sustainable world. We achieve this through education, organization, and participation in public debates, conferences, and seminars that enable the exchange of ideas and experiences. We also address challenges related to current global trends, focusing on areas of sustainable development.

Through these initiatives, we aim to direct society’s development toward a more sustainable and integrated world, where innovation goes hand in hand with responsibility, and individual actions contribute to the global good. We also strive to raise awareness among members of society about the needs of the community and the pursuit of meeting them, which involves an interest in societal issues and a sense of responsibility for the common good. The tools we use to achieve these goals include broad-based education, research activities, promotion of pro-social and pro-environmental behavior patterns and examples, and publishing.

We also contribute to strengthening an active society that is capable of self-organization and independently defining and achieving set goals.
